This information is for ORPHAN piglets that have no mother.
Please dont try to raise pigs without proper equipment and knowledge we get alot of pig calls where the mother had injured or killed piglets.. large breed pigs require Farrowing Crates( very expensive), not to mention they need special shots at birth for Iron, Needle teeth need to be clipped and much more..

TopPiglet Orphan Care:

I have raise a litter of potbellied pigs very successfully about 10 plus years ago. and they all lived : )

We started them on a bottle. since they were so small we used the premie bottles, we did have a dairy goat at the time and mixed half goats milk with half prepare milk replacer that had pigs listed on the bag. I will try to find some and list them a the bottem of the page for reference.. The first few days were the hardest.( for us as humans not the pigs, sleepless nights) We didnt have much trouble getting them on the bottle because they had never nursed for their mother.she died giving birth. However if you have piglets that have nursed on natural teats you may have to have some more patience but most of the time if they are young and hungry enough they will lach on to a bottle fairly quickly. if they dont call us and we can give you some tips

Anyways the first week was the hardest as they didn't drink much but were always hungry ..hahahah.. So we feed them around the clock we had then in the house of course. in a plastic pool that we had used for our dogs in the summer to swim in it had large sides on the pool that worked great for piggies.. ( this doesn't last long until they can start using each other to climb out) I think we feed them every 2 to 4 hours. once they got older I would say over a week or 10 days we put them on a 4 times a day feeding until weaning then cut them to three times a day then to two times a day then to once.. gradually introducing soft foods to them until they were on the appropriate diet for pigs. which is a pellet feed. you can get at your local feed store, if not they can order you some.

Please consult your veterinarian for advise on raising pigs/lets
